On the night of November 4, 2004, Reid was embarrassed at a widely publicized photograph shoot at Puff Daddy's thirty-fifth birth-day party at Cipriani's Restaurant in New York City, when her dress fell, exposing her left breast. Photographs of Reid having larger, perkier breasts than before had been circulating the Internet for several months before the incident, igniting rumors of Reid having undergone breast augmentation. Scar tissue was visible around Reid's nipple, confirming rumors of the implants. The photographs were widely distributed. Reid was born and raised in Wyckoff, New Jersey, the daughter of Donna and Tom Reid, both of whom are teachers and day-care center owners. She attended Dwight D.
